Kakes has been an integral part of the Blaze from the beginning, Kimberly is one of the few players on the roster who has played almost every spot on the field. She settle into All American form as a stellar defensive back and helped lead the Blaze to the National Championship in 2022.
Personal Info
Kimberly has been an avid athlete since she was 2, her first organized sport was baseball at the tender age of 3. With a supportive family, she excelled in sports and has lived the athletes lifestyle since then. Trading her glove for shoulder pads in 2012, she has been a driving force for the Mile High Blaze as both a player and behind the scenes.
WHY FOOTBALL?
- I play football because my coach tells me I have to!
- I love the challenge of always learning the game and new aspects to it.
- I still play because my wheels haven't fallen off yet!
In addition she is an amazing mentor for young women who want to play the sport she loves. She holds nothing back and lives her life with the simple rule:

Life Away From The Field
Kimberly is a Colorado native, while she is not on the field, she can be found in the booth as a coach for Douglas County High School. She has taken her love of the game to the next level and she loves to teach the sport to the next generation.
She is also a devoted wife and dog mom, she loves her family and anything that she can find to do in the beautiful outdoors.
